Publication of the "National Institute of Informatics Research Data Management and Publication Policy (Trial Version)" as a National Model Template

As the National Institute of Informatics (NII), we have published our Research Data Policy (NII-RDP) here as a reference model for institutions across Japan. The NII-RDP has been developed with two main characteristics: (1) it defines institutional research data governance, and (2) it is designed to be actionable.
We have prepared not only a single, consolidated version of the policy but also segmented versions, so that institutions may use only the Basic Policy section or only the Implementation Policy section as needed. Institutions are invited to refer to and adapt these materials according to their circumstances.
We also plan to develop implementation procedures, guidelines, and related internal regulations for the NII-RDP in the future.
